The Reluctant Fundamentalist

by Mohsin Hamid

It is a quick read with an unusual style of writing.A good, thought provoking read, suggested to anyone who's interested in deepening a little more in the psychology of fundamentalism and the relativism of today's world.

I read this book for a reading group, and absolutely loved it! Not the sort of thing I would have chosen for myself. It was a gripping, thought-provoking thriller. Hamid really takes the reader inside the head of the protagonist using the first person narrative. Left me wanting more from this author.
I too loved this book! It was really gripping and i really liked all the biblical stuff, although I appreciate that it isn't true! It makes you wonder how many "sleepers" there are out there!
