Peoples Network

by Toni Jordan

This follows a woman obsessed with counting everything- letters in peoples names, poppy seeds on cakes- and whether she should try and change herself when she meets someone new or celebrate her uniqueness. This book was so easy and enjoyable to read. There were some laugh out loud moments, and I think the book had a really lovely message to it.

I loved this book. I felt great empathy for the main character, who was delightful, in spite and because of her flaws. It gave an insight into the way a disease can affect both the sufferer and the people around them. Very funny & touching.
A wonderful book. A wonderful love story. You can really identify with the main character. Although OCD is a debilitating illness which can dramatically affect someones life, with this book you can see hope and humour in it. 10/10
