American Wife

by Curtis Sittenfeld

I started this book with an open mind never having come across this author before.
At the start the book drew me in and I couldn't leave it down, then a third of the way through the book the pace suddenly slowed down to a crawl. For the next two thirds of the book the story could have been condensed, it was very slow moving and repetitive and I found it a challenge to go back to read on.
It a very difficult to finish and i would not recommend it to my friends.
