The vanishing act of Esme Lennox

by Maggie O'Farrell

A brilliant book, keeps you engrossed from the first page. Evocative of the past and the present. Totally believable. I have passed this book on to friends who have also stayed up till 3am to finish it. Maggie O'Farrell should win prizes, why doesn't she?

I found this to be a compelling story and liked the way it unravelled in a complicated way.
A real treat of a book, I thoroughly enjoyed it. It is such an emotional book, it really makes you think.
actually quiute good
Exceptionally good story and, yes, totally plausible. I read it in one sitting.

Yes I agree, this is great. It is so well written that you almost don't realise how well (if that makes any sense!). Best read in one or two sittings (perfect for a long journey).
