by Jane Austen

I love the characters in this her last and most adult book, which deals with the relationship of a love that has gone and then returned. I like the people with all their little habits and peculiar mannerisms.

My favourite Jane Austen novel, it is considered to be somewhat autobiographical as it was Austen's last novel and published posthumously. Her heroine is older and wiser and it ultimately feels more mature than some of her other novels. I thoroughly recommend this book.
